Miniten is like tennis but played on a much smaller court.  It’s played with standard tennis balls; however instead of a tennis racket you use a wooden bat called a “thug”.  If you’ve played tennis before you’ll pick it up easily since the scoring and rules are virtually identical to tennis.  Beginners usually find it easier to learn than tennis.

You can find out more about the game at

Our Miniten courts are always available with equipment you can use if you have never played and wish to give it a go. Just be sure to wear suitable footwear. Spielplatz have an active miniten group, they meet up most Thursday’s and Sundays at 10:30am and are happy for any visitors that would like to play or learn, to join them on our two miniten courts.
